Debendra Pattanaik, MD
Debendra Pattanaik, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He is also the Director of the Fellowship Program in Rheumatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, India. Subsequently, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois; fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York; and fellowship in rheumatology at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is board certified in internal medicine, allergy and immunology, and rheumatology. In addition to providing clinical care, he performs clinical research primarily in the field of systemic lupus erythematosus.
